The Melbourne Cup is a time of fun and kicks off the “silly season” – the time of year we want to be with friends, family and loved ones.

At Metier, we’ve traditionally run a “Mini Metier Horse” Sweep with some great prizes for those involved. Now in our 10th year, we thought we would change things up a bit and turn our attention to those less fortunate.

This year, we are pleased to be partnering with Share the Dignity’s “It’s in the Bag” campaign.

This campaign is aimed at women in need as a way to make them feel special at a time of year when much of the focus is on children. While they are putting their needs ahead of others, we’d like to make them feel noticed too.

The campaign asks Australians to donate a handbag they no longer use, fill it with items that would make a woman feel special and even pop a thoughtful note into the bag to show her that someone cares and that she matters.

Metier is a drop off point for these bags and we would like to encourage all our clients to participate!

The campaign runs from Saturday 19th November 2016 to Saturday 3rd December.

We are accepting bags anytime before this or if you want one of our team to collect one from the CBD we would be only to happy to do so!
